CNBC touts Clear Channel Radio’s Adlets and Blinks!
CNBC touts Clear Channel radio’s ad innovation in a recent news story. Reporter Julia Boorstin
said Clear Channel has found “music to radio’s ears” in the form of 5-second adlets to get
the message across for clients. The super fast adlets (blinks are as
short as one or two seconds) keep radio fresh and competitive in a
profitable way. Disney, McDonald’s and other international companies
were quick to jump on board. Short, memorable blinks such as “Got Milk”
are translating to “Got Cash” for Clear Channel. Digital billboards are
another example of Clear Channel’s innovative direction, reports CNBC.
